Artist
An art practitioner and creative individual who uses imagination and skills to create indirectly functional arts with aesthetic value to communicate in an art form.
Artisan
A craftsman and physical worker who makes directly functional or decorative objects with their hands using skill, experience, and ability to help meet basic everyday needs.
Medium
The materials that are used by an artist to create a work of art.
Technique
An artist's ability, knowledge, or technical know-how in manipulating a given medium.

Graphic Organizer (Story Map)
A visual display that depicts the relationships among facts, terms, and ideas within a learning task.
Batok
An ancient hand-tapping tattoo technique that uses the thorn end of a calamansi or pomelo tree to drive an ink mixture of charcoal and water into the skin.
Art Market
An economic ecosystem that relies not only on supply and demand, but also on the fabrication of a work's predicted future monetary or cultural value.
Curator
A manager, overseer, or keeper of a cultural heritage institution who serves as a content specialist charged with managing an institution's collections.
Art Buyer
A professional knowledgeable in art who scouts talents for advertising agencies or locates and purchases artwork on behalf of a client.
Art Dealer
A person or company that buys and sells works of art, understands the commercial side of the art world, monitors market trends, and determines pricing for art pieces.
Private Collection
A personally owned group of artworks on loan to an institution from an individual or organization, typically originating from an art collector.

The crucial stage in the creative process where an artist internalizes and incorporates an idea, allowing the creation to grow internally and manifest consciously or unconsciously.
Completion
The final stage in the creative process where a project is finalized and given its definitive shape prior to being presented to an audience.
