The Little Theatre was purchased from Westinghouse by Martin (Marty) Markinson and

The theatre was controlled by Thespian Theatre Inc. (which was co-owned by Mann and
Libin). Thespian granted licenses (sub-leases) to Circle in the Square School and Circle in the
Square (Theatre Company) for use of the theatre. When the Theatre Company went
bankrupt, Thespian retained control of the theatre as a commercial venue. Most recently,
ownership of the theatre was shifted to Paramount Group, a real estate investment trust.
