List Notation
A set within the curly braces {}. Numbers are separated by commas. Ex. 2 and 4 are solutions. List notation is {2,4}
Interval notation
A notation using parentheses ( )( ), brackets [ ][ ], or both, to represent a set of numbers. The lowest number comes first. Parentheses ( )( ) indicate exclusion, while brackets [ ][ ] indicate inclusion. Solutions are separated by a comma. For "or" equations, a union symbol U connects multiple intervals. Example: X<−3 or X≥9→(−∞,−3) U [9,∞). Ex. -5 <= X < 10 → [-5, 10)
Slope-intercept form
Y=mx+b
Point- slope form
Y1-Y2=M(X1-X2)
Standard Form
AX + BY = C
