(Baptism) Mark 16:16

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

(Baptism) Galatians 3:27

For all of you were baptized into Christ clothed yourself with Christ.

(Baptism) Romans 6:3-4

Do you not know that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

(Baptism) Ephesians 4:5

One lord, one faith, one baptism.

1. Esphesians 2:8 (grace as the foundation)

For by grace you have been saved through faith.

2. Romans 5:1 (justification by faith)

We have been justified by faith.

3. 1 Peter 3:21 (Baptism the entrance in salvation)

Baptism now saves you.

4. Ephesians 2:19 (the household of God)

You are now a member of the household of God.

5. Romans 8:16-17 (heirs to the inheritance)

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ.

6. Ephesians 2:9-10 (not by good works but for good works)

James 2:24

Not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

7. Galatians 5:6 (faith working through love)

1 Corinthians 13:2

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

8. Hebrews 5:12-14 (Growing in Christian Maturity)

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles… But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice.

9. 1 John 5:16-17 (losing and gaining our inheritance)

If any one sees his brother committing what is not a mortal sin, he will ask, and God will give him life for those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which is not mortal.

10. Philippians 2:12-13 (work out your salvation)

Therefore, my beloved… work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasures.
