Ever since the conversion from traditional petroleum refining to renewable fuels processing and the asset acquisition by the joint venture, there has been a set of site-wide plot plans that have yet to be updated to reflect the current ownership of assets and operating conditions at the site.

For this project, I was assigned to help update these drawings to accurately identify asset ownership.

To complete this…

To complete this task, I utilized AutoCad and Bluebeam to mark the drawings according to what specific assets or boundaries the joint venture, MPC, MPLX, and other owners possess, as well as updating the names and identifying what is running or idled in each area.

After much drawing…

After much drawing modification and consultation with many different teams, I have submitted a DCN form to document controls, which has been completed, and the new revisions have been uploaded to EDOC.

This project plays a key role in maintaining up-to-date and accurate knowledge of asset ownership and operating conditions, which will aid in administrative and financial evaluations, future project development, and allow our team make better-informed, high-level decisions moving forward.
