Define and critique the policy of euthanasia in many Scandinavian countries from a biblical perspective.

Euthanasia, or so-called "mercy killing," is physician-assisted suicide of a patient, by means of administering lethal drugs or by starvation. This practice is contrary to Scripture because it assumes the role of God in determining which life is worth protecting and when a person's life should be terminated. It contradicts the sixth commandment not to commit murder in Exodus 20:13.
