Republic Act 11036 Mental Health Act, National Mental Health Program

LIFESTAGES
refers to a phase in a person's lifespan from infancy to advanced age that presents specific problems and has specific health needs (e.g. child, adolescent, adult, elderly).
Child
refers to a person from newborn to below ten (10) years of age.
Adolescent
refers to a person between the ages of ten (10) to nineteen (19) years of age who is in transition from childhood to adulthood. (RA No. 10354)
Adult
refers to a person aged 20 years to 59 years and 11 months
Elderly or Senior Citizen
refers to a person at least sixty (60) years old. (RA No. 7432 as amended)
