Extensive property of matter
A physical property of matter that depends on the amount of substance present, such as the number of moles.
Electrical conductors
Substances, including metals and solutions of electrolytes, that allow electric current to flow through them.
Sublimation
The phase transition in which a solid changes directly into a gas without passing through a liquid state, such as when mothballs disappear upon exposure to air.
Pure substance
