  1. adjust seat comfortably, we have long legs so don’t need to be too close-up

  2. once adjusted, push ball of right foot as close as possible to break, planting heel firmly

  3. when driving to maintain speed, use heel of foot to control how much weight of ball of foot is pressing down on gas/break.

  1. wherever your eyes go is where the car will follow, so staring at the center far away point/ center horizon keeps you safe in your lane

  1. no color - drive normally but check for pedestrians

  2. solid yellow - slow down, pedestrian has activated the HAWK

  3. flashing yellow → be prepared to make full stop, light will turn red very soon

  4. solid red → stop for pedestrians

  5. flashing red → stop but proceed if no pedestrians are nearby walking
