Aim
Test adults with high-functioning autism on the revised eyes test to see if the deficits on the original test were still seen
To see if there’s a negative correlation between AQ and eyes test scores
To see if women score higher than men

15 adult men with HFA
122 NT adults
103 NT students
IQ matched group
Procedure
Revised eyes test: harder mental states, more cards, equal split of male and female faces, included a glossary
Test was given in a quiet room
No time limit
Practice test, then the 36 cards
Group 1 judged gender as a control task
Results
Group 1 did significantly worse, no IQ correlation
Strengths
