membrane-bound vesicles containing powerful digestive enzymes

Nucleus

contains chromosomes and controls the activities of the cell

Endoplasmic reticulum (ER)

A network of membranes

rough ER transports proteins within the cell

smooth ER manufactures lipids

Nucleolus

non-membrane bound organelle inside nucleus, manufactures and stores ribosomal RNA

Cytoskeleton

microtubules and microfilaments maintains the cell shape and allow cell movement

Centriole

involved in formation of spindle during cell division

Inclusion

nutrients or pigments found in cytoplasm

Ribosomes

attach to rough endoplasmic reticulum and is the site of protein synthesis
