Tone

A writer's attitude toward something.

Euphemism

A polite word or phrase used to substitute an offensive or unpleasant word.

Rhetorical Question

A question used to prove a point, not to receive answers.

Satire

Making fun of people or things using exaggeration to inform people on something.

Buzzword

A word or phrase that becomes very popular for a period of time.

Proverb

Stating a general truth or piece of advice.

Alliteration

A sentence of words that begin with the same letter and have almost the same sound.

Repetition

The recurrence of a word or phrase in a text.
