Biosphere

A biosphere is made up of the regions of surface + atmosphere of the earth occupied by living organisms

It includes living things and organic matter

Geosphere

The geosphere is the solid Earth that includes the continental and oceanic crust as well the various layers of Earth’s interior.

Lithosphere

The lithosphere is the outer part of the Earth consisting of the crust and the upper mantle.

Hydrosphere

The hydrosphere contains all the water found on our planet.

Only about 3% of the water on Earth is “fresh” water, and about 70% of the fresh water is glacial ice.

Atmosphere

is the gaseous layer of air that is held close to the Earth’s surface by gravity.
