Space for industrialisation to grow, so then the human population take over because of available space

Industrialisation is

Development for ports, oil refineries and factories

Overpopulation - no space available so people forced to migrate Habitat Destruction - no area for biomass

Threats to the surrounding environment in the L.T (I) -

Oil Spills - toxify coral reefs and water contamination, causing for plants and animals to die

Agricultural practices lead to

Eutrophication - fertilizers / pesticides run off with water from rainfall, and contaminates the nearby areas

Tourism is

Hotel's and resorts destroying dune systems or coral reefs

No Dunes - Loss of natural habitats Increase in pollution - disrupts natural routine of surrounding areas

Increased Industrialisation - leads to a higher chance of oil spills and contamination
