“Shut your blathering pie-holes! You ignorant excuses for confectionery, we’re all going to die.”

Dad: “That’s fine, we’ve got plenty more.”

“This is my ninth camp out recruits, ninth, and I’ve made it this long for exactly one reason: I know how to survive.”

Piper: “We didnt even see you there!”

“I know. Im really good.”

Buddy: “Oh yeah- she’s really good.”

“These people, they come at you hard and come at you quick and in the blink of an eye you go from alive and happy to dead and gone. You need to be able to take a hard look at yourself and ask yourself-self, do I need to be here? Do I need to be alive? And if your answer to that question is “Yes!” -well then maybe- you just might have a chance.”

Buddy: “I’m buddy.”

“Um- I’m Jet.”

Buddy: “We just became that.”

“You know we’re all going to die.”

Piper: “Why do you keep saying that?”

“You have no idea what’s going on.”

Piper: “that doesnt make any sense”

“Do you know what they do to out kind around here?”

Buddy:”Who’s they?”

“The people. Look. They collect us together, then distribute us one by one, with the littles one getting first pick.”

Buddy: “they’re so sweet!”

“Then they take a coat hanger…”

Buddy: “what a sweet family!”

“Then they straighten the coat-hanger…”

Piper “Hi Steve!”

“And then… they-”

Piper: “WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT! WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT!!”

“And then. If that weren’t enough…”

Piper: “Thank you sweetie, ROAST US AT WILL! AT WILL!”

“All right. This is what we’re going to do.”

Buddy: “there’s nothing we can do.”

“There is. I’ve survived this long by making myself look- unappealing- whenever the people come by. Whenever they get close, I go like this.”

Buddy: “Oh the humanity!”

“I know. It’s disgusting. Who would eat that?”

Girl: “ just one more pleaseeee?”

“All right- let me see your most unappetizing look. Ready, set-”

Piper: “But-”

“GO!” …. “You two are gonna die”

Piper: “nothing- just… wow.”

“There’s another way. I’ll let them take me.”

Piper: “I dont know that I’d prefer that right now.,”

“The next time the people approach, I will make myself look…beautiful.”

Buddy: “How will you do that?”

Buddy: “You’re making me feel feelings. New, wonderful feelings-”

Piper:”we really appreciate it” Buddy gives thumbs up
