what does the bible state about death/after death
everyone must die once and then be judged by God. Human beings are called to account for their actions after death to determine whether they will go to heaven or hell.
what Christians believe about judgement
Some Christians think we are judged straight after death. Others think that we are raised up on a day called Judgement Day when everyone who has ever lived is judged at the same time.

how we treat others in this life will have eternal consequences and so we must follow Jesus to be among the “sheep”.
reason for belief in judgement
Christians believe God grants us his grade and so human beings are accountable for how they respond to that grace

purgatory is viewed as temporary, not eternal, and so God can purify them of any lingering sin
hell quote and analysis
‘the wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all those who forget God’ This quote from the Bible shows that you go to hell because you have lived a life as God did not intend by rejecting or disobeying God
positive impact of hell on christians
it gives them a reason to be good as the idea of eternal punishment should frighten and deter them from sin
negative impact of hell
raises questions and doubts about an all-loving God because if he is omnibenevolent, then why would he allow anyone to suffer for eternity?
