Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
The Philippine government agency charged with promoting relevant and quality higher education, ensuring access, and protecting academic freedom for continuing intellectual growth, research, and leadership development.
Higher Education Institution (HEI)
Refers to colleges and universities offering degree courses, monitored and assessed by CHED to meet standards required for students and stakeholders.
Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
An educational approach recognized and implemented in the BSCpE program using different teaching strategies and topologies to deliver lesson materials.
BSCpE
An acronym that stands for Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
An assessment measure for the BSCpE program that evaluates student performance 3 to 5 years after graduation.
Graduate Tracer
A software application developed by USTP to conduct surveys on graduates to collect data and assess the impact of the BSCpE program.
