Check in

Ask for name, confirmation number. Confirm ID. Check for Hilton honors, ask them then click (search profile). Confirm phone number and email. Assign room. Get auth for card, (click card-clear-obtain cc-request auth-calculate amount). If they e-check in you don’t run card. They are in-house. Ask if need parking permit, give it to them and add it to their receipt. (Account-drop down menu-parking-check until check out-add list-ok). Make at least two keys. Give them keys and write their room number, give them their benefits card if they are diamond gold or silver, give them any vouchers or envelopes left in the bin for them. Done.

Can we make changes to reservations to made through third parties like Expedia?

No, they are prepaid, so we can’t refund them for rooms if they leave early, we can’t change name of person who made reservation. We also can’t tell them the rate they pay because it’s confidential typically and we can see the actual rate Expedia is charging. Only what we are getting from Expedia. They have to go through Expedia.

Who do we never waive the cancellation fee for

No shows and Hilton advanced reservations. This can be seen on the tag. We also don’t refund the cost of the room for Hilton advanced members
