Mirror Usage-Inside Rear view Mirror

For checking path of travel

Mirror Usage- Outside Mirrors

Used for checking before moving vehicle to either side of road, has blind spots

Mirror Usage- Convex Mirrors

Mirrors used to see blind spots, curved like a sphere

Backing- Procedures

1. Place foot on brake, shift to reverse

2. Use a target to aim the car toward, check over right shoulder for target path

3. Check mirrors

4. Go VERRRY SLOW by. barely lifting brake

5. Constantly glance from mirror to mirror to window to check behind

Backing- Backing Straight

Put left hand on wheel at 12 o clock, move top of wheel in direction of travel

Backing- Backing Left or Right

Start w both hands on wheel for head movement to all four corners of car, pull wheel from top down in direction of travel, check rear and front as u travel

Signaling

Signal anytime u turn, change lanes, pull to side, or re enter traffic

Entering Traffic Flow

Avoid backing into a traffic flow, 1.check left, right, front

2. Select proper and legal lane

3. After entering cancel signal

4. Check rear for cars

Making Left and Right Turns
