What is PPE and what are some examples of it?
Personal Protective Equipment used to prevent the effects of hazards

What are some effects of restraint?
1) physical (bruising, hypoxia, hyperthermia, fractures)

What are some general guidelines when restraining animals?
1) Use as little restraint as possible(less is more)

What is wide-angle vision and why do grazing animals have it?
The ability for animals to see almost all the way around them except for directly in front of and behind them; grazing animals have their eyes on the sides of their head and are typically prey which need to see around them to avoid predators
What is a flight zone?
an animals safety bubble; the area around an animal that someone can walk in before it moves away

What is a point of balance and where is it?
the point where you can move an animal forwards, backwards, and around in various directions; it is located at either shoulder of the animal
How do you use an animals point of balance to move it?
By moving behind it you can move the animal forward, by moving in front of it, you can move the animal backwards, and by going at an angle you can turn the animal in a circle
How long does it take for an animals heart rate to return to normal?
20-30 minutes
