Myth of Normal
Understanding that there is not a normal way of learning, that learning is varied based on the person and circumstances in which the learning is occurring. Everyones brain is different and there are many factors that go into cognitive processes.

The brain is not a fixed thing, it can change and adapt over time due to many different factors such as age, location and what a person is going through at the moment. The brain is extremely flexible and can be molded over time.
Tabula Rasa
The brain is not a blank slate or empty at birth, infants are born with some innate abilities that allow them to function and absorb new information.
The Brain as a Computer
The brain is much more complex than a technological computer system and has the ability to mold, shape and function in more detailed ways. Using this myth diminishes the capabilities of the brain.
