Lighting war - rapid fire attacks carried out by Germany. Germany swiftly invaded Poland, marking the start of WW2.

The battle of britain was focused by air. Air forces rained down on Britain during the night. It was Germanys first major defeat in WW2.

A suprise attack on a US naval base by the Japanese.

The battle of stalingrand was a invasion Russia. Germany waited out Russia in hopes of taking over Stalingrand, but in the end it was too cold and Germany surrendered.

A conflict where all avaliable resoures are handed out to war efforts. Everyone is affected no matter who or where you are, including civlians.

Concentration Camps
Concentration camps were camps where Jewish people were sent. They were forced to do manual labor, and were subjected to numbers as names. they were treated as less than the scum on someones shoe, tortured and beaten by the soldiers in the camps.
Atomic bombs and Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
During ww2 the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan. First Hiroshima (Little boy) and than Nagasaki (Fat man). The manhattan project was taking place, a secret project, where the development of atomic bombs were taking place. This lead to the surrender of Japan, and the end of the warBom
Atomic bombs - justifications of Japan.
The US made the radical choice of bombing two majorly civliian populated cities in Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was a very radical choice, beacuse although Japan did bomb Pearl Harbor, they bombed and aimed to bomb a naval US military base. The US got back at them by killing thousands of Japanese civillians.
