Bernoulli Trials
A random experiment with exactly two possible outcomes (success and failure) where the probability of success remains constant across trials.
Binomial Distribution
A discrete probability distribution representing the number of successes in a fixed sequence of independent Bernoulli trials.
Binomial Experiment
A statistical experiment consisting of a fixed number of independent Bernoulli trials, each resulting in one of two mutually exclusive outcomes.
Binomial Random Variable
A discrete random variable that counts the total number of successes in a fixed number of independent Bernoulli trials.
Discrete Random Variable
A random variable that can only take on a countable number of distinct values (e.g., integers).
