Microscope

Coccus
A spherical bacterium, can be observed in various arrangements such as clusters or chains.
Diplococcus
A pair of cocci bacteria, commonly represented by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Staphylococcus
A genus of bacteria characterized by clusters of cocci.
Streptococcus
A genus of bacteria characterized by chains of cocci.
Bacillus
A rod-shaped bacterium, can be found as single, paired (diplobacillus), or in chains (streptobacillus).
Spirillum
A spiral-shaped bacterium, such as Spirillum volutans.
Spirochete
A type of bacteria characterized by a spiral shape, including Treponema pallidum.
