It has "vascular bundles" i.e xylem and phloem. It is also covered by a "layer of cells called epidermis".

Give description of internal structure of root.

It has "cortex" which is the storage tissue of the root. Each root hair is a tubular "outgrowth of an epidermal cell".

By which process does water enter the root of plant?

It enters through "osmosis".

By which process does mineral ions enter the root of plant?

They enter through "diffusion" and "Active Transport".

How are root hair cells adapted for absorption?

They are "long and narrow" which increases the surface area to volume ratio. With this, there "cell sap is more concentrated then soil solution". Also, there root cell is living so it "provides energy" for active transport.
