Define geology
-Geology is the study of the origin, composition, structure, and history of the earth.
-Geologists interpret the characteristics of materials like rocks and fossils to unravel Earth's history and decipher the evolution and distribution of organisms that have lived on the planet over billions of years.
-Geology also includes the study of Earth's internal structures, surface landforms, and the processes that formed them.
