Deltoids
Lifts arm away from body at the shoulder joint.
Pectorals
Located in the chest area, assists in pushing movements.
Trapezius
Upper back muscle that moves shoulders up and down and allows neck rotation.
Rhomboids
Muscles located under the trapezius that squeeze the shoulder blades together.
Latissimus Dorsi
Middle back muscle used to pull something towards you, involved in rowing activities.
Biceps
Muscle located in the upper front arm, responsible for flexing the arm at the elbow.
Triceps
Muscle located in the upper back arm, responsible for straightening the arm at the elbow joint.
Wrist Flexors
Muscles in the front side of the forearm that flex or bend the hands at the wrist.
Wrist Extensors
Muscles in the back side of the forearm that straighten the wrist joint.
Rectus Abdominus
Muscle in the center abs that moves the torso forward against resistance.
