Stomach
secretes gastric juices, pepsinogen, and HCI
Gastric juices: made up of protein-digesting enzyme, mucus, and strong acid
pepsinogen: protects cells of the gastric glands
HCI: converts some pepsinogen to pepsin
pepsin: begins to digest proteins
