Jamestown was the second attempt of the Virginia company to accomplish their goals. They arrived in Virginia in 1607 and the men that traveled there believed they were above everyone else so things started to quickly collapse.

what was the Stono rebellion?

In 1739 slaves in South Carolina seized weapons and marched towards Florida burning houses and killing any white people that they encountered the group reached a maximum of 100 slaves but after a battle with the colonies military over 200 slaves were killed. Only some managed to escape to Florida, and as a result, more restrictive slave laws were passed.

basically, any trade that occurred within the colonies could only be carried by English/colonial ships and those ships could only be operated by English/colonial crews. All goods that were imported into the colonies had to pass through ports in England to be approved.

What was bacon rebellion?

Bacon disagreed with the governors ideas of fair because he wouldn’t fight the natives like bacon wanted to. With existing tension already existing between wealthy, landowners and small farmers, bacon was able to recruit others to fight with him and raid colonies and tribes ended up burning down Jamestown, after the rebellion died out, Virginia was taken over by the crown. The effects of this that race became a factor in slavery, and it was the end of indentured servitude.
