how do you prepare a slide - dry mount

-cut specimen to thin slice

-use tweezers to pick up specimen and put in the middle of a clean slide

-put a cover slip on top

how do you prepare a slide - wet mount

-pipettes small drop of water on slide

-use tweezers to place specimen on water drip

-put coverslip on top, try to prevent air bubbles

-add stain next to corner of coverslip
