Graphic designer's intention:
- communicate a pre-existing message
- motivate action in their audience
Fine Art
primarily created for its aesthetic value, with its beauty, emotional impact, and technical skill intended to be appreciated ( fine art can be interpreted differently by different audiences ) ( fine art can be just for the artist and for others )
Fine artist's intention:
- Creates something beautiful
- Provoke thought
- Disturb
- Appreciate technical skill
- To inspire
- Create an emotional response
- Representational
