to make something clear, plain, or easy to understand by giving a detailed explanation or shedding light on a confusing topic
parol evidence
prevents parties from introducing outside oral or written evidence from prior negotiations to alter, contradict, or vary a fully integrated written contract
adjudication
formal legal process where a judge, court, or official third party reviews evidence and arguments to settle a dispute and make a final, binding decision
summary judgement
legal ruling made by a judge to end a lawsuit, or part of it, before a full trial happens. It occurs when one side shows there is no real dispute over the core facts and that the law requires a win in their favor.

the quiet, passive acceptance of a rule, demand, or situation without protesting, arguing, or openly resisting. It usually means going along with something unwillingly or by staying silent because fighting feels too hard or pointless
