Anorexia Nervosa (AN)
A threshold eating disorder characterized by significantly low body weight, intense fear of gaining weight, and distorted body image.
Bulimia Nervosa (BN)
A threshold eating disorder involving recurrent binge eating and compensatory behaviors influenced by body weight/shape concerns, occurring at least once/week for 3 months.
Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
A threshold eating disorder characterized by binge eating at least 1x/week for 3 months, without compensatory behaviors, causing marked distress.
