Resistor
Limits current flow and drops voltage in a circuit.

Variable Resistor (Potentiometer)
A resistor with adjustable resistance.

Electrolytic Capacitor
A capacitor with positive and negative terminals; must be connected correctly.

Disc Capacitor
A type of ceramic capacitor where a ceramic disc serves as the dielectric material, with silver contacts or electrode plates coated on both sides. No polarity.

Diode
Allows current to flow in only one direction.

Light Emitting Diode (LED)
A diode that emits light when current flows through it.

NPN Transistor
A type of bipolar junction transistor used for switching and amplification.

PNP Transistor
Another bipolar transistor with opposite polarity to the NPN.

Battery
Provides a DC voltage source.

Push Button Switch
A momentary switch that closes a circuit only when pressed.

Lamp
Converts electrical energy into light.

Speaker
Converts electrical signals into sound.

electromagnetic coil
electro magnetic coil used to create a magnetic field when electrical current passes through it.

Integrated Circuit (IC)
A miniaturized electronic circuit made from semiconductor material.

Motor
Converts electrical energy into mechanical motion.

7 Segment Display
an electronic display composed of seven LEDs arranged in a rectangular shape, plus sometimes an eighth for a decimal point

Wire
a conductor used to carry electrical current in circuits, often made of metal such as copper or aluminum

CDS Cell
A light-dependent resistor that changes resistance based on light exposure, commonly used in light detection circuits.

X0602 SCR
a type of semiconductor used as a switch that can control current and voltage in electronic circuits.

Battery Snap
A connector for securing a battery in place, typically featuring two terminals for positive and negative connections.
