First is a producer which makes own food using energy from sun. producers are photosynthetic(can produce glucose by photosynthesis)

Next is primary consumer which eats the produced

Next is secondary consumer which eats primary consumer

Next is tertiary which eats secondary

What does a predator prey cycle show?

How the population of prey and predator vary together overtime

Population of both species cycle up and down but the change in predator always lags behind prey slightly(out of phase)

Why are predator prey cycles always out of phase with each other

Because it takes a while for 1 population to respond to changes in other population/takes a long time for entire population to increase or decrease
