1485-1509, 36 out of 62 noble families gave bonds and/or recognisance whilst there was only 1 during Yorkist rule, Marquis of Dorset never trusted (Richard supporter), 1492 had to transfer all his land and give a recognisance for £1,000 and find others who could give £10,000 worth of recognisances on his behalf, agreements cancelled in 1499 after helping put down the Cornish rebellion
