Presented by P.M. Borden to the Imperial War Cabinet, it granted recognition to the dominions as autonomous nations within the Imperial Commonwealth.
Treaty of Versailles
Drafted after WW1, it imposed harsh terms on defeated nations, including Germany giving up colonies, limiting army size, and paying reparations to the Allies.
it ended the war & when Canada signed the treaty papers separately from Britain it showed they weren’t just a colony of Britons, they were something more.

Chanak Affair
