Sensory Register

The sensory register is the first stage of memory where information from the senses (sight, sound, touch, etc.) is briefly stored for a very short time (a few seconds or less).

Short-term memory is the memory store that holds a small amount of information for a short duration

LTM

Long-term memory is the memory store that holds information for long periods

Maintenance rehearsal

Maintenance rehearsal is the process of repeating information over and over to keep it in short-term memory longer or to help encode it into long-term memory.
