Define prayer 

Talking to a religious leader or a God, giving thanks or gratitude.

Give 2 places a person can pray

At a school or church

Give and explain 2 reasons people pray.

In times of stress, grief or uncertainty, people seek for guidance and comfort.

Whilst looking for their identity, people also pray to build their relationship with God.

Why did Jesus pray? (give 2 reasons)

To keep him close to God and seek guidance.

When did Jesus pray? Explain and Give an example from scripture

Jesus prayed often to grow closer to God, seek guidance, and find strength. He would sometimes go to quiet places to pray alone.
Example: Luke 5:16 – "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."

Define the trinity.

The Trinity means there is one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

Are the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit the same?

No. They are three distinct Persons who together, are one God.

What do  colours (eg blue, white, red) usually represent?

Blue- divinity, White- purity and holiness, Red- the Holy Spirit, humanity, and sacrifice

Why is a dove often used for the Holy Spirit?

The Spirit appeared like a dove at Jesus' baptism.

What do the table and the chalice represent?

The Last Supper and the Eucharist

 What does a halo or circle mean?

holiness and God's eternal nature, with no beginning or end.

Why might you see a triangle?

Represents the Holy Trinity as one God, each equally respected.
