Federal System
Power divided between a national/central government and local governments. Combine governments to create power and local will control counties, schools, roads, etc. The national government will control laws, military, etc.
Confederal System
The majority of the power is given to the local government and less power to the national government. This creates an environment focused more on people's needs.
Unitary System
a system of political organization where a single central national government holds all supreme governing power and authority
