Shigella
• Highly contagious intestinal infection.
• It spreads easily through contaminated food, water, or person-to-person contact
• Symptoms: Diarrhea, stomach cramps, high fever
E. coli
• Typically spreads through contaminated food (like undercooked ground beef or unwashed produce) and water
• Symptoms: Diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting
Hepatitis A
• Highly contagious, short-term liver infection.
• Symptoms: Fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, and joint pain
Norovirus
• A highly contagious virus that causes acute gastroenteritis—an inflammation of the stomach and intestines
• Symptoms: Severe vomiting, watery diarrhea, nausea, and stomach cramps
