Unitive View of Sex- sex is an intimate way of showing love

  1. Path A: Conservative- (C.S. Lewis):

    • sexual intercourse is only for married individuals

    • thought process is if people love one another to have sex, then they can wait cause of love.

  2. Path B: Liberal- (Soto & Ellison):

    • Belief that there are various degrees of sexual involvement, including sex, is okay as long as it is in a committed relationship outside of marriage
