Her birthday is on March 22 and she met and fell in love with Andrius, whom she marries after the war, while moving from place to place. She is forced to live in cruel conditions.

Mr. Stalas
Deported with the others. Jumps out of the truck the first day and breaks his leg. He is the one who gives horrible advice, seems to not be afraid of anything. Is referred to as "the bald man" by Lina and Jonas. Wishes to die from the first day on. Later on at the Christmas dinner which they made, they also found that Mr. Stalas was Jewish. It is found out later that he is the one that denounced who worked in environments that made them liable to be deported.
