Garrison Hat: The anchor is on the left side of the hat and is 2 inches to the right of the hat's crease and 1 ½ inches from the bottom edge of the cap. The Rank is on the right side of the hat, 2 inches to the left of the crease of the hat and 1 ½ inches from the bottom edge.
Shirt: The J-bar is on the left side of the collar, 1 7/8 inches from the collar point. The Rank is on the right side of the collar, 1 7/8 inches from the collar point. The ribbon(s) are on the left side, ¼ inch (a pencil width) from the top of the pocket. Service Stars are ¼ inch (a pencil width) from the top of the ribbons.
