Which drug for: Fast heart rate, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) or narrow complex tachycardia
Adenosine
Tx for fast heart rate (SVT)
Valsalva maneuver; if that doesn’t work, administer adenosine IVP with rapid saline flush. If that doesn’t work, do a cardiovert

NTG contraindications:
Do not take if PT systolic BP is under 100 (take BP inbetween doses)
Pt has taken male enhancement drugs in the last 24 hours
Pt can’t have more than 3 doses in 15 minutes
NTG purpose
chest pains
Given for severe hypotensive pts, anaphylaxis pts, or pts with hertain heart rhythms (v-tach, fib, or asystole)

Dextrose
Given to hypoglycemic pts who are diabetic, given when consciousness is impaired, for choking hazards

Given for suspected opiate use: low respiration, constricted pupils. Pt must have respirations under 12, and then check pupils

Helps control nausea and vomiting. Moring sickness, food or drink reactions, chemotherapy, etc.
