Caryopsis
A type of fruit that is one-seeded and indehiscent, commonly found in grasses.

A unique process in angiosperms where one sperm nucleus fertilizes the egg, forming an embryo, while another sperm nucleus fuses with two polar nuclei to form endosperm.

A type of fruit found in the Brassicaceae family, containing many seeds and having two chambers separated by a septum.
Achene
A type of fruit that is one-seeded and indehiscent, with a separable seed.
Legume
A type of fruit characteristic of the Fabaceae family, typically having one to many seeds and being dehiscent.
Capsule
A type of dehiscent fruit that contains three or more locules and many seeds.
