Customer order

ERP

Enterprise Resource Planning; the main system that connects different business processes, used to manage orders, check product availability and create sales documents.

WMS

Warehouse Management System; used to manage stock and warehouse operations by tracking products coming into, stored in and leaving the warehouse.

Stock

Products or materials available in a warehouse.

Inventory

All goods and products a company has in stock.

TMS

Transport Management System; used to plan and manage transport, deliveries, and transport routes.

Shipment

Goods that are transported from one place to another.

Delivery

The process of taking goods to a customer.

Transport route

The planned way from one place to another.

Accounting software

Software used to manage company finances, create invoices, record payments and calculate costs and taxes.

Invoice

A document showing what a customer must pay.

Payment

Money paid for goods or services.

Excel

Software used in logistics to analyse data, make calculations, create charts and prepare reports to help managers make business decisions.

Report

A document that presents important business information.

Software flow

The correct system sequence: Customer Order → ERP → WMS → TMS → Accounting → Excel.

The step in software flow where shipment information is sent to the transport system.
