Diplomacy
A process through which states negotiate and communicate to resolve conflicts and achieve objectives peacefully.
Sovereign State
A political entity governed by a single authority and independent from external influence.
Vienna Convention (1961)
An international agreement that governs diplomatic relations and establishes the framework for diplomacy and the treatment of diplomats.
Diplomatic Immunity
A legal immunity granting diplomats protection from arrest and prosecution under the host country's laws.
Economic Statecraft
The use of economic tools, such as tariffs, to influence the behavior of other states.
International Organizations (IOs)
Entities formed by multiple states to coordinate actions, manage relationships, and address global issues.
Multilateral Diplomacy

Bilateral Relationships

Nonstate Actors
