Body Language in Animals

Animals communicate mainly through body language, conveying feelings and intentions.

Alpha dogs

Dominant dogs that display leadership behaviors within a pack.

Dominant behavior

Behavior exhibited by animals showing confidence or aggression, often interpreted through body language.

Submissive behavior

Behavior that indicates a dog's insecurity, often characterized by retreating or avoiding interaction.

Table restraint

A method of safely holding a dog on a table for examination or treatment.

Gauze muzzle

A simple, adjustable muzzle made from gauze, useful for restraining dogs safely.

Rabies pole

A tool to capture a dog while maintaining a safe distance, equipped with a loop that tightens around the dog's neck.

Sedatives

Medications used to calm animals without putting them to sleep, different from anesthetics.

Acepromazine

A common sedative for dogs, effective for minor procedures or to calm an anxious animal.

Muzzles

Devices used on dogs to prevent biting and ensure safety during examination or treatment.
