When someone gets hurt physically or emotionally because of someone else's carelessness or bad actions.

Four Major Case Types
Motor Vehicle Accidents, Commercial Motor Vehicle Accidents, Premise Cases, and Dog Bite Cases.
Rear End Collision
An accident where one vehicle collides with the back end of another, typically caused by a failure to apply the brakes on time
Side Swipe
When the side of one vehicle collides with the side of another vehicle.
T-Bone collision
When The front of one vehicle strikes the side of another vehicle, forming a “T” shape.
Head-On Collision
A crash where two vehicles hit each other front-to-front.
Multi-Vehicle Accident
A crash involving 3 or more vehicles.
Hit-And-Run
An accident where a driver leaves the scene without stopping to provide information or assistance.
Commercial Auto Case
When someone is injured in a crash involving a vehicle used for business.
Premises Case
When someone gets hurt on someone else's property because the property wasn’t safe.
Dog Bite Case
When someone is bitten or attacked by a dog, and the dog's owner may be legally responsible for the injury.
Intakes Definition
Gathers facts and decides whether to accept the case.
Intakes Expanded
The initial stage where the firm.
Case Management
Assigned to a CCA/CA Pair who will handle the case.
Demand Definition
Creating a formal demand package and negotiating a settlement with the at-fault party’s insurance.
Settlement Definition
Point when both sides agree on a dollar amount to resolve the claim.
Litigation Definition
Filing a lawsuit when a fair settlement cannot be reached.
